Operations

The Operations Teams consist of 30 recent citizens and city counselors who work hands on to shape and impact the Badger Boys State experience. These teams work together to form the strategic engine that creates an incredible citizen experience. Operations includes the following Teams:

Marketing and Brand

Marketing and Brand are the creatives behind the Badger Boys State social channels, in-assembly videos and more. Our editors, photographers, videographers, graphic designers and copywriters use modern equipment and software to make the week come to life and tell each year's Boys State Story. 

Technology

Elections, Nominations, Nightly Surveys, Registration, the BBS Website and more are powered by our Technology Team. Bring your technical or programming skills to keep Badger Boys State ahead of the curve and create the tools that power the citizen experience. We are looking for people who know one or more programming languages (Python, R, Java), website coding (HTML, JavaScript) and design (Squarespace).

Curriculum

The government simulation is the core of the BBS Program and our Curriculum team has its hands in shaping the way citizens learn about democracy in our State. Help teach the next generation of Badger Boys Staters the fundamentals of government and continue to develop innovative ways to engage citizens in this content.  

Production

This team gets it done, taking great ideas and turns them into action. Through their work, the program has everything it needs in the right place at the right time to ensure every day runs smoothly and changes are made without skipping a beat.

Assistant City Counselor

Our Assistant City Counselors support the day-to-day facilitation of the Program, assigned to one of Badger Boys State's Cities, this role supports the City and County Counselors throughout the government simulation.
